Kingdom doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it does add new twists to the zombie mythology by introducing the quasi-vampiric nature of its flesh-eaters.

Quite frankly, the show is a very real contender for the title of 'greatest zombie television series of all time'.

Kingdom Season 2 is perfection. It's beautiful, it's bloody, and showcases how Korea continually increases the bar for zombie productions.

the best Zombie TV series ever made

I enjoyed this show. Despite the industry being saturated with zombie shows I thought this was a very entertaining take . Especially season 1. Season 2 I found a little more boring

Outstanding show! Like a Korean version of Game of Thrones, but without the long drawn out plot points that go nowhere. Very concise and to the point. Action packed and full of intrigue. Cinematography was excellent and the Korean visuals were beautiful. Best show on Netflix.

Building off of season 1, this next part of the story continues the high tension drama, and keeps you invested wondering what will happen next. A strong performance from the cast, and almost unpredictable turns keep the show moving in a strong direction. This show is worth anyone's time as it draws you in with the horror, but keeps you with the characters.

Amazing show! A must see for Zombie lovers! Politics and a great story. No sex and no fillers. Was not cheesy like some other zombie shows but shows that it is possible to make such a film work without cheap attention grabs. I loved it! Much respect.

Do not get the high score here.... Was pretty good in the beginning, starts to fall apart in the middle, a disaster in the end. Loopholes in every later episodes. In fact, the end is the biggest loophole that just doesn't make sense, a sorry attempt to somehow keep the story alive for the next season.

It's an awful show! I don't get it!
  • Aug 14, 2020
    A masterpiece in thriller fiction.
  • Aug 13, 2020
Nobody does zombies better than Koreans, it's evident!
  • Aug 13, 2020
I was worried that Season 2 wouldn't be as good as the first, but I actually liked it better. They really did a great job setting the stage for Season 3. Can't wait to see where this goes!
